A funny thought I had recently, was: what can watching the stars teach us about our own narcissism? Neil deGrasse Tyson once said:

“The cosmos fills us with complicated emotions”

Let’s go back 2000 years to one of the greatest leaders that has ever walked this earth, Marcus Aurelius, emperor of Rome:

“Watch the stars in their courses and imagine yourself running alongside them. Think constantly on the changes of the elements into each other, for such thoughts wash away the dust of earthly life.”

If I didn’t know Marcus wrote this, I would have guessed Chuang Tzu.
